Brian Baker Assumes Vice President Role at Highmark TechSystems

Highmark TechSystems is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Baker as Vice President.

Brian brings decades of leadership and hands-on expertise in modular exhibit design. Since 1999, Brian has been creative director at MC2 in Atlanta and has become an expert in the use of Highmark’s modular exhibit products for trade shows, events, and environments.

For Brian, this role represents a meaningful return. In 1994, he joined one of Highmark’s early ventures, ICON Exhibits, as a designer under then-CEO Mick Parrott. That early experience helped shape his career and foster a lasting connection with the Parrott family and Highmark’s culture of innovation.

“Mick has played a very important role in my career, and Debbie has a vision for Highmark that is exciting and that I can positively impact,” said Baker. “I have great respect for Highmark’s roots and its commitment to innovation, and I’m thrilled to be part of its future.”

Now based in Atlanta, Brian will serve as a key member of Highmark’s leadership team. His responsibilities will include driving strategy, product development, marketing, and new business development, while working closely with customers to bring creative, functional environments to life.

“Brian’s design acumen and perspective will bring a new dimension to the services we offer to our clients,” said Highmark President Debbie Parrott. “As we develop new products at Highmark, Brian’s intelligence and vast knowledge of both engineering and creating exhibits using extruded aluminum systems will be a key factor in introducing new design options to our expanding customer base. Brian is an incredibly dynamic, highly experienced individual with capabilities that complement and bolster Highmark’s diverse team. We are so pleased to have him on board.”

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from Purdue University and serves on Exhibitor’s CTSM faculty, where he teaches Graphics Bootcamp. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and five children and is a veteran soccer coach.

After drawing approval, you receive a clear cost estimate, engineering documentation, and weight and shipping details.

5. In-Shop Build

With approvals in place, fabrication begins in-house. Quality control is maintained from production through packing, ensuring proper fit, finish, and accuracy. Progress photos or shop visits are available.

6. Packing + Shipping

Structures are dismantled and packed into efficient shipping segments, with delivery to your shop or directly to the show site.

7. Installation
