Highmark TechSystems is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Cooper to the newly created position of estimating and purchasing specialist. “This is a critical role at Highmark,” said Highmark President Debbie Parrott, “because it intersects every phase of the customer experience.”
Before the exhibit industry, Dave worked in residential and commercial construction. When he joined the exhibit industry in 1989, it was as a craftsman, and he quickly advanced to roles such as master craftsman, production supervisor and production manager. He is knowledgeable in all types of exhibit construction methods and has had hands-on experience with industry materials, project costs and pricing strategies. Most recently Dave was senior estimator at Group Delphi in Ft. Wayne, IN.
“Highmark’s business occupies the very technical exhibit systems side of this industry, where materials, construction methods and cost economies are key drivers. Dave’s acute awareness of these drivers, along with his experience and skills, will no doubt benefit Highmark and our customers,” said Ms. Parrott. “He is incredibly knowledgeable and productive in matters that are essential to our business, and he is a great team player.”
